Looking for more?
Hopefully, you’ve already come to understand the value of relative trend analysis and how it effectively puts all of the S&P/TSX Composite stocks, indexes and other investment products on a common trend scale where they can be assessed relative to one another. If not, you should revisit the Visitor Guide. It’s critical to understanding the data and charts, and how they’ll be useful to you for your investment decisions.
But if you’ve come this far, you might now be asking, “What else can you do for me?”
That’s where our premium services come in. For convenience we’ve grouped them all here, whether you’ve linked to this page from any of our family of sites...
Currently, our family of premium service products consist primary of databases that are distributed weekly, or as one-off editions. But, as you’ll see below, there are bonus features associated with each package.
The goal here is primarily to provide the independent investor with more exhaustive trend and consistency (and other) data on a larger pool of stocks or other investment vehicles. Most products are distributed in both .csv and .pdf formats...the former for easy integration into spreadsheets and technical analysis software, and the latter for enhanced readability.
Canadian Equities Database
For an introductory price of $299/year we can provide you with weekly trend analyses on roughly 2000 Canadian stocks on both TSX and Venture exchanges, and the list is growing.
And, there’s much more...
- Every week we send the latest data directly to an email account of your choosing. No need to remember to visit the site, or to memorize subscriber user names and passwords.
- The data are sent out as email attachments -- an alphabetized PDF listing (for easy reading), and a CSV file, which can easily be imported into just about any spreadsheet program. That way you can integrate our data with any other system you may already have in place. Most common database and technical analysis software packages also read CSV files.
- The email message itself will highlight significant changes that may have occurred during the week, or reasons you might want to check the Weekly Report here at the site.
- In addition to the 10-week moving averages that are used here at the TSX TrendWatch site, we also provide 20- and 40-week Trend and Consistency values for all stocks. This provides users with a longer term perspective to focus on the longer term averages. In addition, examining 10-, 20- and 40-week trend values for a single stock can often be useful in tracking turning points when stocks are bottoming or topping.
- We’ll also provide occasional research reports that will help you optimize your use of relative trend analyses. The reports will be based on in-depth analyses, but will be presented in a concise, easy-to-read format, since we know that your time is valuable.
We’re leaving room for lots of surprise bonuses for subscribers as well. No hints for now. After all, then it wouldn’t be a surprise!
Subscribers will also receive preferential support with respect to email inquiries, and a subscriber discussion forum is also something we’re looking into.
So, there you have it! Our package for the “power user” of relative trend analysis for Canadian equities.
If you’re not sure that you want to commit for a year, we also have an introductory $29.99/month option. That works out to a little more than the prepaid annual rate, but that way you have the option of cancelling at any time, without committing an annual amount up front.
Global ETF Database
The ETF TrendTracker web site currently provides relative trend analysis data, commentary and related information on listed Canadian ETFs, country ETFs in the iShares family and the Top 30 US ETFs (based on market cap).
The Global ETF Database contains most of the ETFs traded on Canadian and US exchanges. That’s currently about 60 in Canada and 600 in the US. We can safely use the term “Global” in that many ETFs now track foreign markets.
In addition to the trend and consistency data available for the more restricted list of ETFs at the ETF TrendTracker web site, we provide additional fields including...
- ETF category
- Market capitalization
- Trend & consistency values based on 10, 20 & 40 week exponentional moving averages
- Leverage opportunities (options/futures)
- Average trading volume
The introductory annual price for weekly email distributions of the Global ETF database is $99/year.
If you’re not sure that you want to commit for a year, we also have an introductory $9.99/month option. That works out to a little more than the prepaid annual rate, but that way you have the option of cancelling at any time, without committing an annual amount up front.
Canadian Income Trust Database
Income Trust Trader is our newest web site. It provides occasional commentary on the state of this controversial investment category, plus a “hot list” of income trusts that have the potential to achieve major capital gains over the next 12 months.
It’s also based on relative trend analysis and the trend and consistency values derived from that methodology, but it presents the results in the form of a projected annual gain, which includes both capital gains and income.
The Canadian Income Trust Database contains roughly 400 income trusts still trading on the TSX and Venture exchanges. It is distributed weekly by email in both .csv and .pdf formats.
Fields include...
- End of week prices and weekly price change
- Trend & consistency values based on 10, 20 & 40 week exponentional moving averages
- Income trust category
- Annualized yield derived from monthly distributions
- Projected 12 month gain/loss
- And, more fields are regularly added (especially by user request)
The introductory annual price for weekly email distributions of the Canadian Income Trust database is $99/year.
If you’re not sure that you want to commit for a year, we also have an introductory $9.99/month option. That works out to a little more than the prepaid annual rate, but that way you have the option of cancelling at any time, without committing an annual amount up front.
Single Distribution Opportunities
For those requiring a one-off sample of any of the databases described above, we have a single email distribution charge of $19.99 each. You will receive the latest weekly distribution of the database following receipt of your payment in both .pdf and .csv formats.

We’re using PayPal as our billing service, since it appears to be the most widely-used secure electronic billing platform worldwide. You can still use your major credit card, but if you don’t currently have a PayPal account you may be prompted to set one up before your transaction will go through.
Setting up a PayPal account is a one-time exercise; after which you can exchange funds with anyone who has an email account. And, it’s free, unless you intend to sell goods or services as we do.
(To avoid confusion, please note that for billing consolidation purposes we are currently accepting PayPal payments through the merchant account of our sister company, Information Technology Enterprises. This name will appear as you go through the sign-up process, and may also appear on your credit card statement.)

Guarantee... If we cant deliver any particular weeks set of premium data for technical or other reasons (at our end), well extend your service for two weeks without charge. Naturally, this guarantee does not apply if there are problems with your email provider. However, if that happens, let us know and well see what we can do about resending any missed files.
